Love the Bump!

Congrats to this beautiful lady on baby #2 (who has been born already, yay!)

I have known her for a few years now and have had the pleasure of photographing her son, so it brought me a lot of joy to document her cute baby bump!

We caught up over some coffee on her patio right off of her gorgeous backyard, which was the perfect backdrop for her maternity photos! We started beneath the beautiful trees and then went into the open spaces near her garden. The day was a bit cloudy, but I actually love this weather for taking photos, as it makes for perfect lighting!

Her son was running around with a stick that he found in the yard. He was in his element and loves being outside playing with their dog and in their garden! At the end of the shoot, we grabbed a quick family photo. He was too excited to continue his outdoor adventures to hold still for too long, however, we did manage to get a couple of cute ones with his famous goofy faces! :)

Congrats to the beautiful family!!! Can’t wait to meet your newest addition!

Fruit Bruschetta

Happy Summer!

After a long winter, it feels amazing to get out and soak up the sun! Summer is always filled with wonderful treats and adventures. We love spending time with with friends and family, the food, homemade ice cream, trips to the beach, and exploring the outdoors! One of my favorite seasonal appetizers is my Fruit Bruschetta. It’s a great summer treat because it’s sweet, light, and easily customizable. You can use any fruits you desire, but these are my favorite! Enjoy!

②  Set oven to 350*

③  Slice bread and place onto a greased cooking tray

④  Bake bread for 5 minutes on each side (or until golden brown)

* Other favorite fruits to use are: blueberries, raspberries, and pomegranate seeds.
* TIP: If you are taking this appetizer to a friend's house or event, wait and add the fruit there as these can be hard to transport. You can also put the fruit mix in a bowl and let guests add the fruit as they eat!

First Birthday Photoshoot!

Happy First Birthday to this little blue-eyed cutie!

ava-2327_edt.jpg

I had so much fun photographing this beautiful family! We went to the Allentown Rose Garden, which was in full bloom! It was a very hot day, but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful shoot filled with balloons, giggles, flowers, bubbles, and a little colorful cupcake!

One.jpg

This little cutie loved playing with the bubbles and admiring her balloons and the flowers in the garden! She was also a big people watcher and laughed at all of the puppies as they walked by us! Although she didn’t care too much for her Birthday headband, we managed to get a mid-cry photo of her wearing it, and she did giggle when her mom decided to put it on! :)

When we got to her cupcake, she didn’t hesitate to start in on it! She was all smiles as she stuffed that cupcake into her mouth! We put it on a pink mini cupcake stand, which she was determined to keep from falling over and even press into the ground to keep it straight! So adorable!

Happiest First Birthday and cheers to many more birthdays to come!

Mommy + Me Photoshoot!

Happy Mother’s Day!

To celebrate, we had the joy of photographing some wonderful moms for our Mommy and Me Photoshoot a couple of weeks ago!

Mommy and Me 1.jpg

We set up shop at Mark Kintzel’s Design studio in Allentown, PA. His studio is absolutely adorable! He also created our backdrop and is extremely talented, you should check him out! (https://www.markkintzel.com/) Everyone who came in relaxed in the space and enjoyed snacks and drinks. We had Annie's crackers, gummies, veggies, hummus, and crackers for the kiddos as well as coffee and wine for the adults!

Outtakes.jpg

I absolutely love photographing families! Kids are pure and honest and make the greatest faces! The parents shine as they interact with their children! The shoot and the editing always brings me so much happiness and I love being able to give families memories they will cherish for a lifetime! Some of my favorite photos, are the outtakes, where the kiddos let loose! See some behind the scenes taken from our phones, below!

My favorite part about this shoot, though, was that it was free. What started out as a promotional shoot for my business turned into a very joyful experience for me. Not only did I get to celebrate moms, but I was able to give them the gift of photos and memories that I know they will hold on to forever.

Mommy and Me 2.jpg

To all of you moms out there, thank you for all of your love, sleepless nights, selflessness, and strength. You are true heroes to your children and those of us who are future moms who aspire to be like you. Cheers and Happy Mother’s Day!

Smash the Cake Shoot!

Happy First Birthday to this Little Beauty!

We had an amazing shoot filled with balloons, smiles, glitter, and plenty of cake! I’ve had the joy of knowing Mia since she was born and cannot believe she is one year old already! She is a very sweet, happy, and loving girl! Her personality lights up a room wherever she goes! I am so blessed that I got to document this special occasion!!!

Mia Blog 1.jpg

Mia loved playing with the balloons and the decorations! Although, she wasn’t the biggest fan of her adorable headband, her mom and I were determined to get at least one shot with it on - and we succeeded! When we brought the cake out, she lit up with excitement and with much grace, started in on her cake! I think she would have ate the entire cake, if we would have let her!

At the end of the shoot, we covered her in glitter and confetti, which was so much fun - and not going to lie, messy! Good thing we did the shoot in my apartment and we could get her into the tub immediately! And, yes, I am still finding glitter randomly in my apartment! :) Worth it!

Thanks, Mia for a lovely shoot celebrating you! Cheers to many more birthdays to come!
